The VocaLight system consists of 3 main components: a wireless transmitter worn by the teacher, a receiver base station that picks up the teacher's speech signal, and speakers that distribute the teacher's voice throughout the classroom. Studies have shown that using sound field systems like VocaLight immediately improves student comprehension, attention, and test scores while reducing teacher vocal fatigue. VocaLight uses high-frequency infrared technology that is not prone to interference, allowing an unlimited number of classrooms to be equipped without managing channels. Its small, simple design integrates audio mixing capabilities and dual channels for team teaching.
