This document announces a symposium on advancing the treatment of varicose veins through endovascular intervention and minimally invasive techniques. The symposium aims to review current treatment modalities, update attendees on clinical evidence and new technologies, and share expertise from experienced centers. It will include expert presentations, Q&A sessions, and hands-on workshops examining topics like duplex diagnosis of venous disease, treatment options for varicose veins including endovenous ablation techniques, and office-based treatment. The target audience is clinicians involved in endovascular treatment of varicose veins.

About the symposium of varicose veins
Endovascular intervention, employing minimally
invasive, catheter-based technologies, is establishing
itself as a standard of care for the treatment of varicose Covidien Vnus Symposium
vein diseases. Development of new technologies and 16th & 17th February 2011
clinical evidence are contributing to the shift towards less
invasive treatment options.

on workshops, a distinguished faculty will examine the

trends in varicose vein treatment.
2. Provide an update on the clinical evidence and
technology available to treat varicose veins.
3. Share the expertise of large experienced centers.
