Biographical movies are very educational, especially in the realm of history and critical thinking.
Beyond Mexico, visual culture about many societies reveals how films, including documentary
(Doc.)films can be compared and contrasted to reveal a range of historical and geographical diversities.
A case study of Argentine and foreign views of the many faces of "Eva Perón," AKA Evita Peron
before and since her death July 26, 1952, offers many research opportunities, as do films on Brazil,
Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Haiti, Venezuela…and Romania.
