This document outlines the development of a story called "The Camino Case" that will be presented across multiple mediums. It discusses taking themes and characters from Anton Chekhov's short story "The Kiss" and expanding the story. The story will be presented on a website with a minimalistic and clinical aesthetic. It will include high production video, lower production audio recorded to seem natural, and formal text in line with the clinical theme. The website is designed to be accessible from any point and have reasonably linear content that overlaps and links. The project aims to use a common space as a launching point to explore themes, shift trends in multimodality, and justify the work from an academic perspective for future expansion.
