This document discusses the Virtual Humanitarian Cluster initiative. It involves organizations like UNICEF, which works in 190 countries, and GLOBALMEDIC, located in Canada but working with partners worldwide. ComunicaCity è una mobile app per smartphone e tablet che permette agli enti pubblici e alle pubbliche amministrazioni (comuni, provincie, regioni, forze dell’ordine, ministeri, comunità) di inviare al cittadino e alle imprese news, segnalazioni, allerte, aggiornamenti, comunicati, il tutto in tempo reale e in maniera semplice e veloce. All’interno dell’app ci sono inoltre sezioni ad hoc per la raccolta differenziata, per il turismo, info utili, ecc. L’aspetto più innovativo e unico di ComunicaCity è la possibilità, per l’utente, di seguire tutti gli enti che desidera, in una sola app. La ricchezza di funzionalità e informazioni di ComunicaCity la rende veramente appetibile per tutti i cittadini e le imprese.
Il servizio prevede un canone annuale per gli enti variabile in base al numero di abitant, mentre è gratuita per gli utenti finali.
Abbiamo già una partnership con ANCI (Associazione Nazionale dei Comuni Italiani) Lazio e stiamo formalizzando altre partnership con forze di polizia ed enti della pubblica amministrazione centrale, che utilizzeranno il sistema come mezzi di informazione e sensibilizzazione al cittadino.

MINT-Composer – A Toolchain for the Model-based Specification of Post-WIMP In...Sebastian Feuerstack
With the introduction of new modes to control user interfaces like speech, gesture and multi-touch Post-WIMP interfaces increasingly substitute classical WIMP (windows, icons, menus, pointer) user interfaces.
In this paper, we describe a toolchain of three connected tools to design and monitor custom Post-WIMP interactors using model-based user interface design (MBUID) methods. We use state charts and mappings as the basic modeling technique. Different to other MBUID approaches our models are get created to specify the behavior of existing widgets. These models are then used to attach further control modes and connect interactors using mappings.
We explain the toolchain by an interactive music sheet web application that can be controlled by head movements to turn the sheets.
CA Technologies introduces Xinfo (short for extensible information), a content management methodology with three major components:
-Scenario-based content
-End to end content access
-A wiki-enabled content library
All three components support an interactive and collaborative customer community whereby users can find what they need, when they need it.
Slides of my presentation at the Quantified Self Europe Conference, November 2011, Amsterdam. We presented and discussed several approaches to capturing emotions in workplace environments, as well as some of the challenges that they involve. These approaches are part of the MIRROR Project, whose main goal is supporting reflective learning at work, by creating an easily used set of applications ('Mirror' apps), that enable employees to learn lessons from their own and others experiences to perform better in the future.
Mit dem Ziel, die Leistungs- und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Unternehmen nachhaltig zu stabilisieren und konsequent weiter zu stärken, wurde eine Verbundinitiative Virtuelle Cluster durch ins Leben gerufen. Die Begleitung und Unterstützung der Unternehmen bei der Einführung "Neuer Technologien" und der Zugang zu "Neuen Märkten" sowie die Unterstützung zur "Fachkräftesicherung" standen in der Aufbauphase im Mittelpunkt.
In der Projektphase II bis 2013 ist die nachhaltige Clusterbildung mit dem Fokus auf branchenrelevante Zukunftstechnologien, -produkte und -märkte als Beitrag zur weiteren Stabilisierung und Stärkung der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit und des dazugehörigen produktionsnahen Dienstleistungssektors weiter voranzutreiben.

Today, St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts - one of the largest centers for training and advanced training of specialists in the sphere of culture and art, the leader of the Russian humanitarian creative education. Our University - the largest university of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
In developed SPbGUKI known scientific and creative schools have formed a unique team of professors, whose composition teachers on the staff (most of which - with academic degrees and titles), folk and Honored Artists of the USSR, Russia, Honored Scientist, Honored Art Worker of Higher and deserved Russian school.
Faculties, departments and centers of the University annually provides training for thousands of students. The main fields of activity are the educational library and information work, museum studies, socio-cultural activities and folk art creation. Being received at the basic educational program undergraduate, graduate and specialties. In graduate school SPbGUKI under preparation of the teaching staff, working dissertation councils.
In the educational process is being actively implemented modern information technologies are used multimedia hardware and software. Educational work is carried out in close cooperation with cultural institutions, formed a joint information resources (virtual museum, Automated Library Information System) with a number of major libraries and museums of St. Petersburg.
Diese Plattform (Virtuelle Cluster Initiative) wurde ins Leben gerufen, um kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen (KMU) die Möglichkeit zu bieten sich im Internet professionell zu präsentieren. Durch diese Clusterbildung können die Unternehmen zusätzlich an unserer Einkaufskooperation teilnehmen, welche vorrangig dem Ziel dient Kostenvorteile zu nutzen und vor allem aber kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen Möglichkeiten eröffnet die ihnen der Markt sonst nicht bieten würde.
Kurz zu meinen Vorhaben:
Wie kann ich (können wir) den Standort Deutschland auf Regionaler, Bundes und Landes Ebene, sowie die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit von Standorten im globalen Standortwettbewerb positionieren? Gerade die KMU benötigen dieselbe Möglichkeit wie große Unternehmen zu agieren. Meine Hauptzielgruppe sind KMU aller Branchen (aber nicht ausschließlich). Durch die „Virtuelle Cluster Initiative“ haben Unternehmen die Möglichkeit sich auf einer virtuellen Messe genauso professionell zu präsentieren wie auf einer realen Messe, jedoch zu einem Preis den jeder sich leisten kann. (siehe Anhang) Dadurch erhöht sich der Bekanntheitsgrad der KMU auf Regionaler, Bundes und Landes Ebene. Kleine Unternehmen die noch keine Internetseite haben können diesen Messestand für den Betrag von 40 € monatlich als professionelle Firmenpräsentation nutzen. Sie wären dann zentral schnell auffindbar für potentielle Käufer (Nachfrage) Regional, National und sogar International. Der erste Marketing Aspekt für KMU. Durch den Messestand sind die KMU Als Anbieter (Angebot) vertreten.
Gerade die Möglichkeit des professionellen Marketings ist bei den KMU oft nicht geboten. Potentielle Käufer (Nachfrager) können sich durch die virtuelle Messe schnell und gezielt Überblick verschaffen (Angebot auf dem Markt) Regional, National und international.
Die Virtuelle Cluster Initiative spezialisiert sich nicht nur auf eine einzige Branche sondern richtet sich auf die gesamte Wirtschaft aus. Z.b Maschinen u. Anlagebau in einer Halle, Speditionsfirmen in einer Halle, Handwerker in einer Halle und so weiter. Über die jeweilige Suchfunktion entscheidet der potentielle Käufer.
Ein bedeutender Zusatznutzen der Aussteller ist die Teilnahme an der von uns angebotenen Einkaufskooperation. Richtig angenommen und eingesetzt ist ein direkt messbarer bzw. quantifizierbarer Kosten- und Nutzenaspekt zu erwarten.
KMU haben meistens nicht genügend Personal strategischen Einkauf zu betreiben. Eine zusätzliche Dienstleistung die wir anbieten werden. Durch die immer stärker schwankende Konjunktur werden die KMU auch nicht in der Lage sein oder das Risiko eingehen neue MA einzustellen um diese Tätigkeit zu übernehmen.
Für die einmalige Teilnahme an einer realen Messe fallen Kosten in Höhe von ca. 10.000 € für 3 Tage an, (sehr niedrig angesetzt). Auf der Virtuellen Messe hätten die KMU die Möglichkeit diese Ausstellung nachhaltig 362 weitere Tage rund um die Uhr zu präsentieren. Der Vorteil hier, das jeder Besucher einen passenden Termin finden kann die Messe zu besuchen.
