This 7-day tour package visits Vietnam and Cambodia, including stops in Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta region, Siem Reap and its famous Angkor Wat temple complex. 1. VIETNAM + CAMBODIA 7DAYS/6NIGHTS
DAY 1: SAIGON ARRIVAL – CUCHI TUNNEL – SAIGON (L/D)
Arrive in Saigon. Greeted at airport & transfer to hotel for checking in. Lunch at Indian
restaurant. Afternoon, we will drive overland to Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground network
constructed by Vietnamese guerrillas to protect the region against the American attacks during the
Vietnam War. We can even crawl a part inside the tunnel, visit their infirmary, kitchen.... to discover
how people had survived hereby. Back to Saigon for Dinner and overnight in Saigon.
DAY2: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)
Drive to My Tho, known as the "bigger rice basket" in Vietnam. Upon arrival cruising through Mekong
River, passing a fishing villages. Visiting some small islets as Turtle, Dragon, Phoenix Island, under a
green canopy of water coconut trees. Walking through some villages to a fruit garden. Taste tropical
fruits, while having live traditional music. Lunch at local restaurant. Short horse cart ride to a bee farm.
Have honey tea. Short rowing boat ride. On the way back to Hochiminh city, visit Vinh Trang pagoda,
and unique pagoda in Vietnam mixture of Vietnamese, Chinese and Cambodian architecture. Dinner

2. DAY3: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR – SHOPPING (B/L/D)
Morning visit: The Reunification Palace: This is one of the most important buildings in the city; War
Remnants Museum: Formerly known as the Museum of American War Crimes, this is a poignant
display of the futility of war; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and
1883 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture. Lunch. Afternoon visit:
Giac Lam Pagoda: This is Saigon's oldest pagoda, dating back to 1744 and one of the finest in
Vietnam; Cholon, including the Thien Hau Pagoda: Cholon actually means Big Market - a claim that
is well justified as Vietnam's largest market, the Binh Tay is situated here; Ben Thanh Market: This
bustling market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide
selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dais. Dinner & Overnight in

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH – SIEM REAP (B/L/D)
Welcome to Siem Reap! Your tour begins when you are warmly welcomed by our English Speaking
Guide at Siem Reap International Airport. After you have collected your luggage he will then take you
to your hotel for check in.

In the afternoon you will visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The
Royal Baths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta
Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was
discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool
(representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake) and Preah Khan temple, Built by the King
Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging
corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation
and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. Then move to the
major Pre Rup temple, built by Rajendravarman II in late 10th century. Architecturally and artistically
superior temple-mountain. Beautiful carved false door on upper level, as well as an excellent view of
the surrounding countryside. Richly detailed well-preserved carvings, particularly on the lintels.
Traditionally believed to be a funerary temple, but in fact the state temple of Rajendravarman II.

3. Overnight in Siem Reap
DAY 5: SIEM REAP – TEMPLE TOUR (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a full day excursion to discover Angkor Thom and Temples. Firstly, you
will visit the wonderful Angkor Thom (the Great City) including the Southern Gate, famous Bayon
temple (12th century in the centre of city remains one the most enigmatic temples of the Angkor
group composed of 54 gothic towers decorated with 216 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara. Baphuon
temple is lying just to the north of Bayon a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru. Terrace
of Elephants used as a giant reviewing stand for public ceremonies and served as a base for the king’s
grand audience hall; Terrace of the Leper King a platform 7m high, with statue.

Afternoon, it is time to visit the wonderful Angkor Wat Temples – one of the seven greatest
architectural wonders of the world, as a temple and mausoleum for King Suryavarman II at the peak
of the Khmer empire in the first half of 12th. Angkor Wat is probably the best-preserved of the
Angkorean temples, with a central tower surrounded by four smaller towers. The central monument
represents the mythical Mount Meru, the holy mountain at the centre of the universe, which was
home to the Hindu God Vishnu. The whole complex covers 81 hectares, a rectangular wall measuring
1025 meters by 800 meters borders the inner edge of the moat, and temple's greatest sculptural
treasure is its 2 km-long bas-reliefs around the walls... and then visit to the Phnom Bakheng temple,
is the first temple in Angkor region build by the Yacovarman I King in the first of 9th century, located
on a slope gently hill where thousands tourist are grouping on the hilltop to catch a memorable time
of life when viewing the marvellous sunset, the distant Angkor Wat in the jungle.
Evening is your free time for walking at busy pub street. Pop up at a bar for cool drink or shopping at
Angkor Night Market.

4. DAY 6: TEMPLE TOUR – FLOATING VILLAGE (B/L/D)
Breakfast at your hotel, in the morning, we travel through the traditional village of Preah Dark to the
12th century temple of Banteay Samre. Built by King Suryavarman II, the genius behind Angkor Wat,
this temple has been extensively restored. The temple is unique in that over-quarrying of sandstone
led to the use of laterite for the roofed corridors. The pediments above the inner doors here include
some of the most accomplished carving from the Angkor period. We continue further north to
Banteay Srei, Angkor’s ultimate art gallery. This petite pink temple is the jewel in the crown of Angkor-
era sculpture. The elaborate carvings here are the finest found in Cambodia and the name translates
as ‘Fortress of the Women’, thanks to the intricate detail here, considered too fine for the hands of a
man. Originally believed to date from the latter part of the Angkor period, inscriptions at the site
suggest it was built by a Brahman in 967. However, some architectural historians have suggested that
the inscriptions may date from an earlier structure on this site and the temple is in fact later, marking
a high-water mark in Khmer sculpture.

Afternoon visit Chong Kneas one of natural tourisms and a mangroves for hundreds species of fresh
water fishes and birds and decorated with ethnic stilted houses line over the water surface up to the
air. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them, most of who
live in stilted houses. The people depend largely on fishing and tourism for their incomes. We
embark on the traditional wooden boat through the flooded forests of the GREAT TONLE SAP LAKE,
habitat of many bird species it will bring you to Chong Kneas. This amazing floating village is built on
8 to 10 m high stilts. We visit an island pagoda, a school and traditional stilt houses to interact with
the local families. Return to Siem Reap for refreshment.

DAY 7: CITY TOUR – DARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel, explore city tour to visit ANGKOR SILK FARM offers free guided tours of the
process from the mulberry bushes cultivation to the production of silk fabrics and accessories. As the
Silk Farm covers an area of 8 hectares, of which 5 are used for the mulberry trees plantation, you will
enjoy the beautiful setting while learning about the fascinating process of silk-making. WEST BARAY
is the largest man-made body of water at Angkor. Visitors can hire a boat to take them to the island

5. in the middle where West Mebon temple once stood. Today, only traces of it remain. But the island
is a pleasant spot for a picnic or just walking around when water level is low. Alternatively, visitor
