This document summarizes perspectives on gender roles and opportunities across three generations in different regions. The grandparents' generation from Vibgyor faced significant inequality, with limited education and career opportunities for women and household responsibilities as their primary duty. In RLO, grandparents had more equal treatment but girls tended to choose nurturing subjects. For parents, opportunities expanded for women in both Vibgyor and RLO/Massland, though household duties remained mostly the responsibility of women. The present generation sees continuing growth in emancipation and equal job opportunities between men and women.

• Our group enjoyed working together and we
became more sensitive towards our grandparents
and parents issues regarding gender related roles.
•Interviewing parents and grandparents was
interesting.
•Convincing a few grandparents for video interview
was a little difficult.
•We feel that the present generation is luckier than
previous two generations.
