 What does „nonpartisan‟ mean?
It means the NAACP cannot intervene in any
political campaign on behalf or in opposition
to any candidate for public office.
Nonpartisan campaigns should be designed to
educate the public about issues or to
encourage the public to exercise their right to
vote – not to tell the public how to vote.
