This document discusses verbs that can take two objects. It defines direct objects as being directly linked to the predicate, and indirect objects as indicating who or what the direct object affects. Examples are given of sentences with two object verbs in both active and passive voice, such as "I made you some coffee" and "Coffee was made for you."
