INTRODUCE PLANET VENUS IS THE 2ND PLANET FROM THE SUN. IT WAS A HOTTEST PLANET IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM. SOME OF THE PEOPLE (MAYBE YOU) SAY THAT VENUS IS EARTH’S WILD SISTER OR A TWIN. VENUS WAS NAMED AFTER THE GREEK ANCIENT ROMAN GODDESS OF BEAUTY AND LOVE.
DISTANCE FROMTHE SUNAND SURFACETEMPERATURE 108 MILLION KILOMETRES AWAYFROM THE SUN. THESURFACE TEMPERATURE ON VENUS CAN REACH TO ABOUT 500°C. IT ISREALLY HOT.
WATER& SURFACE THERE’S NO WATER ON VENUS BECAUSE THE SUN’S HEAT EVAPORATES IT. THE SURFACE OF VENUS ISSOLID AND IT IS MADE OUT OF ROCKS. THE PROBES OF A MACHINE THAT WENT TO VENUS BROKE BECAUSE OF THE ROCKS AND THE HEAT FROM THE SUN.
THE ATMOSPHERE AND GASES VENUS’S ATMOSPHERE ISVERY THICK . IT ISMADE OF CARBON DIOXIDE GAS. VENUS HAS CLOUDS WHICH ARE MADE OF SULPHURIC ACID. IT IS VERY HARD TO GO THROUGH. THE ONLY GAS ON VENUS IS CARBON DIOXIDE. VENUS’S CLOUDS AREVERY HARD
SUPPORT LIFE TO LIVE ON VENUS NO, WE CAN’T SUPPORT LIFE ON VENUS BECAUSE ITS GRAVITY IS TOO STRONG AND IT WOULD PRESS US DOWN. WE CAN DIE BECAUSE OF THE GRAVITY PRESURE.
INTERSTING FACTS THE PLANET ISMOSTLY COVERED BY SOLIDIFIED LAVA. EARTH TURNS COUNTERCLOCKWISE BUT VENUS TURNS THE OPPOSITE WAY WHICH GOES CLOCKWISE. IN VENUS THERE’S A BIG CRACK LIKE A SPIDER WEB. A SCIENTIST FOUND THAT A HUGE STORM CAME ONVENUS. THE CLOUDS WERE TWIRLING. SCIENTISTS SAY THAT VENUS IS GETTING SMALLER AND SMALLER BECAUSE IT IS MELTING DAY BY DAY.
