Answer Sheet Lesson 5
NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers.
Activity 1:
Actually, I totally am surprised by the whole thing. I mean, I thought the ending would be different from
what I expect because just imagine twenty-seven ships against thirty-three. It’s not fair you know. It’ll be hard for
them to defeat them when they’re against six ships from the enemies. But despite all of that Lord Nelson wanted
to remind his soldiers or sailors that each of them had a mission.
If I were there that time, I’ll feel hopeless just like what everyone was expecting that time. England would
be defeated. But Lord Nelson erased that kind of mindset which is I think He is amazing, just as the result of
minding their own duties and parts. The result was a resounding victory that no one expected.
Activity 2:
2.) We that believeth Him became God’s own purchased possession. I am His and He’s mine.
Activity 3:
2.) Forgiveness, because just as Jesus’ mission here is to set His people from this sin.
4.) Actually, there are a lot of them. From His first coming there are some of His accomplishments that hasn’t
been recorded in the Bible, just like His ministry of healing, gospel and many more. But the thing here is that the
only difference of His accomplishment from His first coming and second coming is that, His first coming here was
so wicked and has a lot of disease that is why during His first coming is that the ministry of healing was so popular
whereas His second coming will be different because in heaven there will be no more pain, sorrow nor death.

Lessons from Farming on How to keep Growing
“I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you,
but if I go, I will send him to you” (John 16:7)

Activity 1:
My grandparents are farmers. Both of my mother’s side and fathers are farmers in Basey. Every holiday or
Summer Vacation we gather together as a big family but except this 2020 holidays and Summer Vacation ☹.
Anyways, this unforgettable and simple moments I have in our farm is that way back 2018 summer vacation. Me
and my cousins though love to go with our grandfather to his farm and just observe there with my cousins. Every
time when we get there, I always help my grandpa to water the plants and what I really want to water a specific
plant is that baby tomatoes. Before we go there in the morning, we worship first praying for the plants to grow
healthy and we go there morning then if it getting too sunny, we go back to our house and in the afternoon, we go
back there. That was just our routine for the rest of the Summer vacation and seeing the plants growing healthy
satisfies my sight. And I realize how important to have a partnership with God to attain the success of farming.
Why? Simple, it’s because without God’s grace will He be sending rain for the plants? Send Sunlight? Make sense
right.
Activity 2:
A.)
Cooperation! We cannot do what God alone can do, neither He will not do what He has assigned us to do. To
attain spiritual growth, we must COOPERATE for what Christ did, He did it for you. What the Spirit does, He does in
you.
B.)
The role of the Holy Spirit in our salvation is that it’s responsible for guiding us when we don’t really
understand what we’re reading in the Bible or even making a life choice. The Holy Spirit is responsible for helping
us to learn right from wrong, warns us when we stray from what is right and this is actually base on what we have
read on the Bible. And if we all follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit then we’re not in the danger of attaining
situations.
Activity 3:
2.) Jesus is our true and only best friend. He never once fails us. Did He? Not even, once right? Though He is
hurting because sometimes we do forget about Him, still He loves us. I somehow found comfort when Jesus
ascend to heaven because He promised He’ll come back.
3.) According to Romans 8:34, He became the right hand of God and even though He’s up there. He is still
interceding for us.
10
The Significance behind the Ceremony
“Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me,
as the scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.’ By this he meant the Spirit”
(John 7:37-39a)

Answer Sheet Lesson 7
NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers.
Activity 1:
At first, I was reading this and the mood was so serious but suddenly this sentence in the ending came up
saying, “It’s true that ceremonies and stories can be boring but when you understand the significance behind
them, they can be pretty exciting.” This sentence suddenly makes me realize something, especially sometimes on
church services I don’t really feel like paying attention to the sermon because I find it boring😅. That is why this
book has a big point.
Tongues of fire. Remember before Jesus ascended to heaven this is what He promised to them that for
the meantime this or the Holy Spirit will be always be with us. And one more thing, I think it does make sense
when the symbol tongues was used because the tongues was actually to be used by the Holy Spirit that tongue
represents our mouth to spread God’s ministry, gospel and to witness for Christ to many people from many
nations.
Activity 2:
a) Feast of Tabernacle is an example of primary purposes which is the education, and one more thing feast of
tabernacle reminded Jesus how God provided for the daily needs of their ancestors while they lived on tents
and tabernacle during their Forty years of wandering in the wilderness.
b) Passover Feast commemorated the liberation of God’s people from bondage in Egypt.
c) Passover Lamb pointed back to the deliverance of God’s people form Egyptian slavery and pointed ahead to
the death of the Lamb of God, who would deliver His people from slavery to sin.
Activity 3:
5. Probably, as you can see, our world is just so dangerous. Even the Holy Spirit is present, still we do mistakes
how much more without it probably we can do more worse just like not having control of your anger and the Holy
Spirit is absent we might commit a serious crime.
6. Without the Holy Spirit. It is so scary. Just like if you can’t control yourself and gotten into a fight without the
Holy Spirit that will help you calm down; you’ll surely do a violence. That is why the Holy Spirit is very important.
12
Snowboarding and the Gospel
“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all
Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8)

Activity 1 – Preliminary
In your community, have you experience an incident wherein a news spread like fire? In what mode
of communication (thru TV, Radio, word of mouth or etc.) it was relayed? Did it give hope, fear or just for
fun?
Activity 2 – Discover
A. We are called to be Christ witnesses. What shall we do to become effective witness for Christ?

NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers.
Activity 1:
It once happened to me though you see my father is a chaplain in the Calbayog Adventist Sanitarium and
that means he goes to work in a hospital. This day came when the hospital got a patient that went positive with
COVID- 19. Well of course everybody freaks out especially the hospital staffs including my dad because they were
victims of close contact of the patient. And so, my dad and other hospital staffs were quarantined in the hospital
and then perform a swab test and thank God they tested negative. But except for one person she got positive and
then quarantine again. Next sabbath, we all go to church because we want to thank God for hearing all our prayers
but one thing we noticed is that people were looking at us, like we are the center of the attraction and so yeah
that time I presume they all got the news maybe by mouth or via text like that and maybe it did give them fear you
know COVID-19 virus and people don’t like it.
Activity 2:
A.)
Is the witness of Christ our part is to tell people what Jesus Christ means to us and how He change us through the
power of the Holy Spirit.
B.)
The early rain is that germinated did the newly planted seed, thus beginning the growth process. This also means
like the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost was actually the early rain, that which started the growth of the
church. While the latter rain usually came just before the harvest to bring the cop maturity this also means the
latter rain will take place when the Holy Spirit is poured out upon the church for the final harvest.
Activity 3:
4.) Maybe Social media or Internet. You see, Media ministry helps a lot of people to get don’t know
about God especially people now are bound to social media or Internet.
5.) Jesus is the type of friend that whatever happens He is there.

When Rocks have Faces
“Do not confirm any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2)

Monuments and Images erected are by product of experienced Sculptor who looks beyond the rough
edges. Jesus is the Master Sculptor who shaped us into a face fitted for His glory. What are samples of
“rough edges” of your life that was changed by Jesus? How it was transformed?
Activity 2 – Explore
Ponder upon the story of Apostle Peter – his transformation, write a reaction paper two paragraph
only (each paragraph 3-4 sentences). See HERITAGE OF FAITH – FORETOLD p. 202-204.
Activity 3 – Creativity
Draw any object that symbolize or describe your “Real You” that needs Christ power to transform it

NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers.
Activity 1:
People are sinners. Everyone of us commit sin. And when I say everyone of course there’s no exception of
that. We also do have rough edges. To be honest, I’m thankful for this pandemic. Because of this Jesus help me to
change and stop doing what was I have been doing those times that there was no pandemic. Every time I pray for
forgiveness is just so different now than before. And I thank God for it.
Activity 2:
Peter is pretty much like me. Like peter I had much to learn too. From the time Peter swear that he would
not deny Jesus but then He really did. I remind myself of Him. The time I swear not to do it again but still did it.
However, just like Peter transformation and mine. I see God’s millions of ways just to help his children
come back to Him. And it’s very touching that even we push Him away still He just don’t stay still. He does work
even though we many not notice it somehow but He really does and I tell you we must see it because God’s work
and effort is just amazing and appreciable.
Activity 3:
A broken glass is hard to fix. If you don’t have the skill and also
you don’t know how to fix this as well. But Jesus is willing to fix
me even though He is hurting and still loves me. And I don’t
hesitate to bring myself to Him because I believe that nothing is
impossible with God.

A Thriving Community
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together,
as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day
approaching” (Hebrews 10:24, 25)

Answer Sheet Lesson 10
NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers.
Activity 1:
Love is from God and Hate is from Satan. Sometimes in life we encounter arguments and this happened
always with my friends. Well, everybody knows my friends are the funniest and I always enjoy being with them.
But then when this day comes that’s when we all will fought and then we don’t talk to each other like strangers it’s
very lonely. That’s when I realize how they became special to me. Whenever I’m with them they never fail to make
me smile and be happy always that’s why I really value our friendship because with them I feel like where I really
belong.
Activity 2:
First of all, I’m very impressed by Mr. Escalante’s attitude. Like, look how he gave up his old high paying
job to the thing he really loves to do but didn’t pay that much. His friends call him stupid because of it. But still he
goes for the thing he really loves to do.
“You can do it!” I presume this word Is just everyone wanted to hear every time they are hopeless. Not
that you’ll be scolded just because you failed instead cheer them up or make them go work harder, just like Mr.
Escalante did. He is a good man and a blessing to those he had helped. His also an example and an inspiration to
chose what you really love to do.
Activity 3:
2.) So, that we don’t feel alone or lonely.
4.) To be honest, It doesn’t matter for me how our church look like cause what only matters is the brethren and
the solemnness of worship.

Make sense right. Activity 2: A.) Cooperation! We cannot do what God alone can do, neither He will not do what He has assigned us to do. To attain spiritual growth, we must COOPERATE for what Christ did, He did it for you. What the Spirit does, He does in you. B.) The role of the Holy Spirit in our salvation is that it’s responsible for guiding us when we don’t really understand what we’re reading in the Bible or even making a life choice. The Holy Spirit is responsible for helping us to learn right from wrong, warns us when we stray from what is right and this is actually base on what we have read on the Bible. And if we all follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit then we’re not in the danger of attaining situations. Activity 3: 2.) Jesus is our true and only best friend. He never once fails us. Did He? Not even, once right? Though He is hurting because sometimes we do forget about Him, still He loves us. I somehow found comfort when Jesus ascend to heaven because He promised He’ll come back. 3.) According to Romans 8:34, He became the right hand of God and even though He’s up there. He is still interceding for us.

11 Answer Sheet Lesson7 NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers. Activity 1: At first, I was reading this and the mood was so serious but suddenly this sentence in the ending came up saying, “It’s true that ceremonies and stories can be boring but when you understand the significance behind them, they can be pretty exciting.” This sentence suddenly makes me realize something, especially sometimes on church services I don’t really feel like paying attention to the sermon because I find it boring😅. That is why this book has a big point. Tongues of fire. Remember before Jesus ascended to heaven this is what He promised to them that for the meantime this or the Holy Spirit will be always be with us. And one more thing, I think it does make sense when the symbol tongues was used because the tongues was actually to be used by the Holy Spirit that tongue represents our mouth to spread God’s ministry, gospel and to witness for Christ to many people from many nations. Activity 2: a) Feast of Tabernacle is an example of primary purposes which is the education, and one more thing feast of tabernacle reminded Jesus how God provided for the daily needs of their ancestors while they lived on tents and tabernacle during their Forty years of wandering in the wilderness. b) Passover Feast commemorated the liberation of God’s people from bondage in Egypt. c) Passover Lamb pointed back to the deliverance of God’s people form Egyptian slavery and pointed ahead to the death of the Lamb of God, who would deliver His people from slavery to sin. Activity 3: 5. Probably, as you can see, our world is just so dangerous. Even the Holy Spirit is present, still we do mistakes how much more without it probably we can do more worse just like not having control of your anger and the Holy Spirit is absent we might commit a serious crime. 6. Without the Holy Spirit. It is so scary. Just like if you can’t control yourself and gotten into a fight without the Holy Spirit that will help you calm down; you’ll surely do a violence. That is why the Holy Spirit is very important.

13 Answer Sheet Lesson8 NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers. Activity 1: It once happened to me though you see my father is a chaplain in the Calbayog Adventist Sanitarium and that means he goes to work in a hospital. This day came when the hospital got a patient that went positive with COVID- 19. Well of course everybody freaks out especially the hospital staffs including my dad because they were victims of close contact of the patient. And so, my dad and other hospital staffs were quarantined in the hospital and then perform a swab test and thank God they tested negative. But except for one person she got positive and then quarantine again. Next sabbath, we all go to church because we want to thank God for hearing all our prayers but one thing we noticed is that people were looking at us, like we are the center of the attraction and so yeah that time I presume they all got the news maybe by mouth or via text like that and maybe it did give them fear you know COVID-19 virus and people don’t like it. Activity 2: A.) Is the witness of Christ our part is to tell people what Jesus Christ means to us and how He change us through the power of the Holy Spirit. B.) The early rain is that germinated did the newly planted seed, thus beginning the growth process. This also means like the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost was actually the early rain, that which started the growth of the church. While the latter rain usually came just before the harvest to bring the cop maturity this also means the latter rain will take place when the Holy Spirit is poured out upon the church for the final harvest. Activity 3: 4.) Maybe Social media or Internet. You see, Media ministry helps a lot of people to get don’t know about God especially people now are bound to social media or Internet. 5.) Jesus is the type of friend that whatever happens He is there.

15 Answer Sheet Lesson9 NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers. Activity 1: People are sinners. Everyone of us commit sin. And when I say everyone of course there’s no exception of that. We also do have rough edges. To be honest, I’m thankful for this pandemic. Because of this Jesus help me to change and stop doing what was I have been doing those times that there was no pandemic. Every time I pray for forgiveness is just so different now than before. And I thank God for it. Activity 2: Peter is pretty much like me. Like peter I had much to learn too. From the time Peter swear that he would not deny Jesus but then He really did. I remind myself of Him. The time I swear not to do it again but still did it. However, just like Peter transformation and mine. I see God’s millions of ways just to help his children come back to Him. And it’s very touching that even we push Him away still He just don’t stay still. He does work even though we many not notice it somehow but He really does and I tell you we must see it because God’s work and effort is just amazing and appreciable. Activity 3: A broken glass is hard to fix. If you don’t have the skill and also you don’t know how to fix this as well. But Jesus is willing to fix me even though He is hurting and still loves me. And I don’t hesitate to bring myself to Him because I believe that nothing is impossible with God.

17 Answer Sheet Lesson10 NOTE: You may also use the back portion of the answer sheet if you lack space for your answers. Activity 1: Love is from God and Hate is from Satan. Sometimes in life we encounter arguments and this happened always with my friends. Well, everybody knows my friends are the funniest and I always enjoy being with them. But then when this day comes that’s when we all will fought and then we don’t talk to each other like strangers it’s very lonely. That’s when I realize how they became special to me. Whenever I’m with them they never fail to make me smile and be happy always that’s why I really value our friendship because with them I feel like where I really belong. Activity 2: First of all, I’m very impressed by Mr. Escalante’s attitude. Like, look how he gave up his old high paying job to the thing he really loves to do but didn’t pay that much. His friends call him stupid because of it. But still he goes for the thing he really loves to do. “You can do it!” I presume this word Is just everyone wanted to hear every time they are hopeless. Not that you’ll be scolded just because you failed instead cheer them up or make them go work harder, just like Mr. Escalante did. He is a good man and a blessing to those he had helped. His also an example and an inspiration to chose what you really love to do. Activity 3: 2.) So, that we don’t feel alone or lonely. 4.) To be honest, It doesn’t matter for me how our church look like cause what only matters is the brethren and the solemnness of worship.
