The UXF-35 is a manually activated, self-inflating single cell life preserver packed in a sealed pouch. It is the lightest FAA approved adult and child life preserver that can be stored for up to 10 years before inspection is required. The compact life preserver is stored aboard aircraft for easy access in an overwater emergency and inflates to provide 35 pounds of buoyancy while also including a water activated light and optional whistle.
