Ernest Grotsky has spent more than three decades
managing projects in the residential construction
industry as a business owner and consultant. An
active member of his community, Ernest Grotsky
also supports a number of charitable organizations,
including the United Service Organizations (USO).
The USO recently issued a press release to
announce that it had partnered with four other
nonprofits to form the USO Transition 360 Alliance, a
collaboration designed to provide a comprehensive
range of support programs for military families
shifting into civilian life after military service.
3. United Service Organizations
To provide services to a wide variety of stakeholders,
ranging from new veterans to service members’ children,
the USO partnered with the Comfort Crew for Military
Kids, Hire Heroes USA, RallyPoint/6, and Stronger
Families.
The alliance unites organizations with specialized
programming in a combined effort that more effectively
and holistically reaches the nation’s transitioning military
families. Through the alliance, the USO hopes to assist
the 1 million service members the Department of
Defense estimates will transition into civilian life over the
next five years. The partnership will focus on
employment, housing, education, and family
development services.
