database’. The relevance should be decided
by ‘type of analysis’ that need to be carried
out through MCA data warehouse. All data
of CBDT and CBEC may not be relevant.

Please clarify, whether these are the only
tools that would be available for project
execution. Is there any scope of
recommending additional tools for at least
data cleaning, data validation and data
quality?

functionality is functional by the end of
requirement gathering milestone, it shall be
taken in scope of current project. Otherwise,
it may be taken as part of phase –II (if any)

incorporating unstructured data in terms of
web mining/ text mining and include them

focuses on the structured data which seems

data as well.

Approval Related
The requirement focuses on considering a
lot of variables which are textual by nature
(For example the E filing of forms related
to Approval Related, Other filings, Annual
Statutory Filings. The clarification lies: i)
In understanding if text mining/ textual
data/ columns to be incorporated in the data
warehouse ii) If the textual
data/attachments/pdf to be incorporated in
the data warehouse, is there a possibility of
varied responses by the companies across
those textual columns iii) If there are
possibilities of varied responses across the
textual columns, can a standardization of all
the varied texual responses possible.

Requirements
The data extracted from MCA21 database
will be validated with the help of the
software tools to detect errors and issues.
The cleaning process will also be carried
out by applying appropriate business rules.
Our understanding is that the business rules
should be provided by the department which
may be validated statistically.
