This document describes the Vedic planetary system, including different levels of existence below and above earth. It discusses the hellish planets where living entities are placed according to their karma, as well as the luminous planetary system containing the sun, moon, stars and planets. It also mentions the higher planetary systems of Maharloka, Janaloka and Tapoloka that are inhabited by great sages and rishis, and the topmost Satyaloka, the abode of Lord Brahma. The universal covering is described as having seven layers from earth to mahat-tattva.
