UNIT PLANNING

UNIT MAP: A unit map is a list of the units to be undertaken within in a course of
study. The unit map also shows when the units will be taught during the period of the
course. See example below.

RENAMING A UNIT: To rename a unit click on the unit title in the unit map. The full
unit plan will appear. At the top of the unit choose ‘the’ rename tab to rename your
unit.

UNIT NAMING CONVENTIONS: For the purpose of developing the units, indicate
the unit title followed by the author’s initials and yr. the unit was developed. e.g.
Introductions (RB 12/13). Also see example below.
