• 1 book a room on the phone. Decide what kind of
room you want, when and for how long
• 2 check in. Decide what questions you want to
ask, for example, about the health club, a map,
breakfast time…
• In pairs, practise booking a room and checking in.
Take turns to be the guest and the receptionist

• Write down four times when you’re free. For example:
– Tomorrow, 12 am
– Monday, 7 pm
– Tuesday, 1 pm
– Saturday evening
• Make arrangements with three different
people. Find someone to do each thing with.
