Edward reaches his headquarters where his ally Jim supplies him with equipment. Slowly, the camera zooms into Edward as he loads his gun and puts his hood on. When Edward goes into the town, the camera shows a mid-shot of the town and a long shot of the Caribbean when he reaches a synchronization point. The assassin Edward Kenway states his name and role, telling Jim he needs to gear up for something that has happened. Jim gives Edward his favorite heavy machine gun and says good luck as the gun loads. Background noises include people chatting, birds singing, trees waving and calm music.
