The University of Lagos is accepting applications for several Technical Assistant III positions, including Printer, Lithographer, and Media Electronic Print. Candidates must have the minimum qualifications of an SSCE/NECO/WASSC/GCE O/L certificate with 5 credits including Math and English, plus a relevant trade test certification. They must also have 2-3 years of relevant work experience operating the necessary equipment. 2. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
(a) Candidates for the post of Technical Assistant III (Printer) should
possess SSCE/NECO/WASSC/GCE O/L certificate with five (5) Credits including
Mathematics & English Language, plus Trade Test in Printing Technology. Minimum of 3
years relevant experience & must be able to operate Kords 64, QM 46 and Cutting Machine. Must
have skills in Pre and Post Production; as well as be able to cost production from origination to
post press. Membership of Nigeria Printing Press Association will be an added advantage.
(b) Candidates for the post of Technical Assistant III (Lithographer) should
possess SSCE/NECO/WASSC/GCE O/L certificate with five (5) Credits including
Mathematics & English Language, plus Trade Test in Lithographer. Minimum of 3 years
relevant experience & must be able to operate plate maker. Must have the ability to read
negative viewer and be conversant with modern Lithographic Technology.
(c) Candidates for the post of Technical Assistant III (Media Electronic Print) should
possessSSCE/NECO/WASSC/GCE O/L certificate with five (5) Credits including
Mathematics & English Language, plus Trade Test in Electrical/Electronics
Engineering. Minimum of 2 years Media Electronics Work including maintenance and
supervision of Electronics/Electrical gadget in Tertiary Institution will be an added
advantage.
All applicants must be ICT compliant as there will be a Computer Based Test (CBT)
for all.
