U.MC is a touristic city that was developed by focusing on tourism to attract population and generate money. It had over 1.5 million people and $120,650, but there was not enough time to finish all planned facilities like an amusement park. The city had an airport, stadium, beaches, ski fields, national park and other attractions. Two other cities, United MC and U.M.C, went bankrupt due to setting local body rates too high or too low, which decreased their populations. In conclusion, tourism was key to supporting the large population of U.MC.

-U.MC is a touristic city. We chose to make a
touristic city because we thought that if we
increased our population, we would have more
money to construct and to maintain the city.

-Economy played a very important role in our city, as in
real life, we try to have money to survive, which probably is
one of the points of the game. We ended up with 120,650
dollars and with 1,552,437 people in our city, but
unfortunately the turns passed very fast and we didn't have
time to finish constructing more things, like an amusement
park.

two ski fields, a national park, etc. We have
chosen this type of facilities because they are
attractive to people. For example, we constructed
an airport because more people could come to
our city so it would increase our population; the
national park and the ski fields are constructed to

8. Our bankrupted citiesOur bankrupted cities
-We had another city called United MC which
became a ghost town because most of our
decisions were wrong. For example, the local
body rates were too high and consequently, our
population decreased a lot, although we had a lot
of money. Another city, called U.M.C, went
bankrupt because our local body rates were too
low and when we put them higher our population
decreased.

-In conclusion, our city was very developed,
had a high population and each turn we saved a
big amount of money. All this happened because
we were concentrated on tourism and, in fact,
without tourism it would be much harder to
support a big city like U.MC.
