first year students’ transition
into the UD community and
their college experience.
As part of the First Year
Experience (FYE), this outdoor
excursion provides students
the unique opportunity to
connect with their new

about themselves and to
develop the confidence and
skills they need to successfully
navigate their first year at UD.
