To Whom It May Concern:
Please accept this letter of recommendation for Frank Marchunt. Mr.
Marchunt was the Network Administrator for United Communities
Southeast Philadelphia for over three years. During that time, he
assisted our agency to build a solid IT infrastructure, provided valuable
assistance to the users of the network, ensured that the business of United
Communities was conducted in a secure manner, and implemented
network upgrades (including the introduction of a VOIP telephone system
at one of our sites). Throughout his association with United Communities,
Mr. Marchunt grew as a professional and earned the respect of his
colleagues at the agency.
Unfortunately, the current funding environment necessitated that United
Communities consider an alternative solution for managing our network.
The end result of that decision was that a very difficult decision was
made to layoff Mr. Marchunt despite the significance of the contributions
that he had made to the agency.
Based on the agency's experience, I am confident that for positions
related to IT and network management, Mr. Marchunt would be an asset
to many organizations. It is unfortunate that funding considerations led
us to lay him off.
I am available at 215-468-6111 if more information regarding Mr.
Marchunt and the work that he did at United Communities is needed.
Sincerely,
~Q-
