Rock art imageries, including the abundant heritage of megalithic monuments thickly congregated in different pockets of Central and Western India provide a vivid record of archaeo-astronomical belief systems, nurtured by the prehistoric societies by means of stone carvings, drawings and megalithic monuments, used as observatories or sites delineating astronomical orientation. Archaeo-astronomy is a branch of knowledge where, science, technology, prehistory and mythology all come together. Prehistoric societies in different pockets of India understood and appreciated equinoxes, solstices, novae and supernovae, constellations, zodiac, eclipses and shaped their world view including cosmogonical and mythological ideas accordingly as evidenced by various rock art motifs depicting sun, moon, lunar phases, other complex images like wavy and dashed lines, often associated with human burials, hunting, mating and battle scenes. The continuation of various astronomical symbols, particularly the Sun motif can be easily identified from Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Harappan and Megalithic pottery. This paper aims to review the existing framework of archaeo-astronomical research in India incorporating fresh data exclusively from Central Indian rock art exploring and debating the plausible ritual aspects in Indian rock art.
Topography itself is a vast area of enquiry and requires in-depth methodological exploration and research. The nuances of this pluridisciplinary avenue have been scrutinized in different disciplines ranging from mathematics to geography, history, physics, biology and psychology. In this paper I aim to discuss three approaches to delineate the meaning and fundamental problems in topography research across disciplines. In doing so, I would aim to restructure topography as a set of objects. Science studies objects empirically as physical entities, without corroborating any logical, viable meaning to it. According to the Cartesian logic, mind would instill meaning into topography, perceiving changes in it; whereas relationally, interrelation between different objects would create meaning showing the effect. Semantically, topography imparts information as symbols. Symbols are generated from objective meanings which are actually independent to objects or topography itself. Finally, I aim to include case studies form archaeology and anthropology to unravel the inherent meanings in it, detailing plausible solutions for Cartesian, Relational and finally Semantic topography taking up cues from the said disciplines and related case studies.

Continuity in Rock Art : A Conceptual Model from IndiaRuman Banerjee
Indian Rock art offers continuity from prehistoric period to contemporary times. The traditions of indigenous archaeology and local anthropology is still very much alive and can be documented via painted rock-shelters and rigorous ethnography. Stringent field-work data opposing arm-chair theorizing from the safe havens of the office space can open up new paradigms in Indian Rock Art Research. Since the tradition is alive, it just requires an inquisitive mind and methodical approach conditioned by reason and experience to unearth the hidden, enigmatic but firm lines of continuity research in Indian Rock Art.

2. User Account Control adalah sebuah fitur dalam Windows yang
dapat membantu mencegah yang cara akses yang tidak sah
terhadap komputer. Fitur ini muncul pada windows 7, Vista
dan windows 8, Namun tidak untuk windows XP. UAC
melakukan hal ini dengan meminta untuk memberi izin
konfirmasi (Yes) atau Menolaknya (NO) sebelum melakukan
tindakan yang kemungkinan dapat mempengaruhi operasi
komputer atau mengubah pengaturan yang mempengaruhi
pengguna lain. Bila sobat melihat pesan peringatan UAC,
perhatikan dengan cermat bacaan yang ada pada kotak
dialog, dan kemudian pastikan nama tindakan atau program
yang akan dimulai adalah salah satu program atau aplikasi
yang aman untuk di jalankan.
3. Dengan memverifikasi tindakan ini sebelum mulai menjalankan
program yang dimaksud, UAC dapat membantu mencegah
perangkat lunak berbahaya (malware) dan spyware dari
proses instalasi program atau membuat perubahan pada
komputer tanpa izin.

12. Always notify - Jika memilih opsi ini, setiap dilakukan perubahan pada
komputer atau pengaturan Windows UAC akan meminta konfirmasi,
termasuk pada account Administrator maupun account Standar. Ini adalah
pengaturan yang paling aman. Sebelum melakukan konfirmasi, kita harus
hati-hati membaca isi dari setiap kotak dialog sebelum mengizinkan
perubahan yang akan dibuat ke komputer anda
opsi ini direkomendasika kepada user jika rutinitas user tersebut
sering kali menginstall program baru kedalam windows dan
mengunjungi halaman website yang belum pernah dikunjungi
sebelumnya sehingga opsi ini dapat disebut opsi yang paling ketat
pada UAC setting.
13. Default – Notify me when programs try to make changes to my computer
- Pada Opsi ini anda akan diberitahu peringatan UAC sebelum
melakukan konfirmasi terhadap perubahan pada komputer yang baru
pertama kali akan diakase. Namun, UAC tidak akan lagi memberi
peringatan untuk membuat perubahan ke pengaturan Windows yang
membutuhkan hak akses administrator pada program yang sama untuk
kedua kalinya. anda harus selalu berhati-hati tentang program mana yang
ingin dijalankan pada komputer.
Opsi ini tidak direkomendasikan oleh sistem karena juga dapat
memyebabkan terjadinya kekacauan terhadap sistem windows yang
dipakai, Opsi ini dipilih jika waktu dim desktop sangat lama pada
komputer.
14. Notify me when programs try to make changes to my computer
(Do not dim my desktop) - Pada Opsi ini, Sobat akan diberitahu
sebelum program membuat perubahan pada komputer yang
membutuhkan hak akses administrator. Opsi ini hampir sama
dengan Opsi No 2 "Default – Notify me when programs try to
make changes to my computer" Namun disini kita tidak akan
diberitahu pada peringatan Aman atau tidaknya program yang
akan di jalankan. Opsi ini memiliki resiko keamanan yang kecil
tentang untuk melakukan pendeteksian adanya Malware dan
Spyware.
Opsi ini tidak direkomendasikan oleh sistem karena juga dapat
memyebabkan terjadinya kekacauan terhadap sistem windows
yang dipakai, Opsi ini dipilih jika waktu dim desktop sangat lama
pada komputer.
15. Never notify - Pada Opsi ini kita sama sekali tidak akan diberitahu konfirmasi
UAC sebelum perubahan yang dibuat ke komputer karena pengaturan UAC telah
dinonaktifkan. Jika anda tetap memilih opsi ini komputer meminta untuk
melakukan restart guna menyelesaikan proses mematikan UAC. Setelah UAC
tidak aktif, orang-orang yang login sebagai administrator akan selalu memiliki
hak akses administrator, termasuk membaca dan membuat perubahan pada area
sistem yang dilindungi, data pribadi dan hal lain yang tersimpan pada komputer.
Program juga akan mampu berkomunikasi dan mentransfer informasi ke dan dari
apa pun komputer tanpa adanya nontifikasi sebelumnya, sehingga sangat rawan
dengan ancaman Malware dan Spyware yang coba meretaas komputer.
Opsi ini tidak direkomendasikan oleh sistem karena dapat memyebabkan
terjadinya kekacauan terhadap sistem windows yang dipakai, dan khususnya
program yang tidak bersertifikasi untuk windows dapat menggunakan opsi ini
untuk menghidari filter UAC asal user addministrator mengerti sumber program
yang tidak bersertifikat ini bersih dari kode berhaya seperti malmware, trojan dan
lain sebagainya.
