I am currently an Engineering student at Carleton University in Ottawa, and I would like the opportunity to gain some
experience in the engineering field and make some money over the summer. I am always looking to add more skills onto
my repertoire and learn as much as I can.

Skills & Abilities
ABILITYTO USE OSCILLOSCOPES
· Constructed circuits and analyzed them using an oscilloscope along with voltmeters and oscillators
· Brief experience with programs such as PSpice
CODE IN C AND PYTHON
· Have edited and programmed in both C and Python in various labs
READ AND ANALYZE ENGINEERING DRAWINGS
· Ability to look at an engineering drawing and determine measurements and howparts fit and work together

 Competed against other teams to build a bridge made of newspaper that could hold the most textbooks

FORMULA SAE VOLUNTEER TEAM
· Build parts according to laid out specifications on engineering drawings for the Raven’s Racing car in a machine shop
PRESENTATION TRAINING WITH A PROFESSOR
· One on one training with a Carleton professor to help prepare for the Ontario Junior Engineering Competition
· Practice by doing mock competitions and get tips and advice from a professor
PHYSICS AND MATH TUTOR
· In high school I tutored students in math who could not afford it for free after school and during lunch
· Tutor high school students in preparation for final exams in Physics 11
CUSTOMER SERVICE
· Worked many jobs including A&W and Bruce’s Country Market in which I dealt with the various needs of customers on
a day to day basis
OTHER HANDS ON SKILLS
· Have worked a landscaping job in which I learned to garden and use landscaping machinery
· Through Formula SAE I have learned to use metalshop equipment and read engineering drawings
MOVEMBER ORGANIZER
· Helped organize the Carleton Engineering Movember events and raised over 2500 dollars for men’s mentalhealth and
prostate cancer
FROSH WEEK FACILITATOR
· Lead activities and team building exercises to help ingratiate new engineering student to the Carleton community
· Was responsible for the safety and wellbeing of participants of Frosh week
· Prepared food and did set up and take down of activities
