Simple game:
1) First player rolls the dice and sums the result
2) Second player rolls the dice and sums the result
3) Players compare the results
4) Repeat until my son declares he does not want to play
anymore ;-)

How players perceive randomness and
chance?
https://dilbert.com/
Did they complain about landing a 10% or
lower chance shot?
Questions like this are often dismissedwith a simple "it can happen" :)
"It is possible to commit no mistakes and
still lose."
but playersdo not want to acknowledge that :(
"Sid Meiering" the game or the 80% = 100%
rule
My childs game:
• single deck of monsters
• each monster has a price in coins
• players buy them from same pool
Issues:
• one player draws better than the other
• both can draw monsters costing more
gold than they have
Solution:
Some clever deck sorting, that cheaper
and weaker monsters show up earlier and
pricier and stronger monsters show later
in the game
