5. 1. Learn and match the basic verb forms.
1. Futbol oynamak __ Don’t play football.
2. Futbol oyna. __ To play football

4. Futbol oynamak güzel. __ Play football.
5. O futbol oynamak istiyor. __ It’s nice to play football.
6. O futbol oynuyor. __ He wants to play football.

7. 2. Commands. Learn how to form commands in Turkish.
Simply drop the —mek / mak suffix in the verb, and make a positive
commend. Drop the —k at the end of the verb and make a negative
command. For example:
Okumak To read
Kitap oku. Read a book.
Kitap okuma. Don’t read a book.

object (THE) in Turkish.

Bir elma ye. Eat an apple.
