feet is 30 cm high. Tuis eyes colour is red
brown black blue. Their body colour is
brown black blue a little bit of red on their
beak. They do have ears. Tui’s are a nice
bird they don’t harm anyone.

DIET
Tuis eat Nectar from native plants,
honey, insects and fruit. They don’t have
a limit how much they eat. Nothing will

HABITATS
 Tui’s live in North Island West and South coast,
Stewart Island, Rakiuar and Chatham Island. People
and magpies can destroy tuis habitats like chopping
the trees chopping there nest, taking them and pulling
them apart. There habitats are where they live. Tuis
can make loads of habitats they don’t always live in the
same place. They live for 7 to 14 years.
MOVEMENT
Tuis can fly and walk. Tuis don’t have a
average how fast they can fly. Tuis fly because
they have feathers and wings. Their wings
make them fly. The best way for Tui’s is to fly.
They walk when they dig for food. They fly when
they want to go to their habitats.
