The document summarizes the goals and approach of the Transform Milwaukee initiative, a public-private partnership led by the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) to invest $100 million and stimulate economic development in Milwaukee. The initiative aims to generate $200 million in development, create jobs, strengthen property values and housing, improve stormwater management, boost transportation networks, and decrease reliance on social services over its initial two years. WHEDA is working with various public and private partners to package financing resources that will help grow businesses and restore central Milwaukee neighborhoods.

2020 Annual Report - Menomonee Valley PartnersMichelle Kramer
This past year has seen many unexpected changes. From the COVID-19 pandemic to the racial reckoning of our nation, we have faced many challenges. Throughout this time period, it has been humbling—but never surprising—to see the stakeholders in the Valley come together to support one another.
At a time when nothing was certain, the business leadership in the Valley donated medical equipment, used their production spaces for PPE, and supported workers through a very turbulent time.
Our green spaces were more active than ever, showing a 474% increase in use of Three Bridges Park! Although people could not gather, it is heartening to know that land once known as the state’s largest brownfield is abundantly used by the community to enjoy nature.
As we move forward to a new year, we are excited to see how the Valley will continue to adapt, grow, and foster inclusion in all spaces. Thank you for being part of this ever evolving journey!

2021 Annual Report: Progress Toward a Sustainable FutureMichelleKramer16
2021 brought many unique challenges to the Valley. Businesses continued to react to the COVID-19 pandemic with care and concern for others, as well as built out plans for a sustainable workforce of the future. Key infrastructure projects to divert stormwater and plan for more interactive infrastructure became realities. MVP acted as convenor in complicated scenarios, always keeping in mind that a sustainable future starts with the decisions we make today.
