1) The Voice of NFL Films, Earl Mann, provided voiceovers for promos about a contest to win a Toyota Tundra truck that was run on 1460 The Fan during the Ohio State football season. 2) Listeners could register for the contest online or at events, and were encouraged to do so through radio promos, banners, emails, and displays of the truck at games and sponsor locations. 3) On November 13th, three finalists competed in a trivia contest at a Buffalo Wild Wings to win the Tundra, which was ultimately won by Thomas Hatch.

How it worked: Beginning August 27 th , game week for the OSU home opener, 1460 The Fan drove listeners to 1460thefan.com to register for their chance to win the grand prize by clicking on the Toyota Tundra logo. This sent the listener to the Tundra micro-site, where the listener registered their information for the database and got all the details on the truck and the contest. The listener took a timed quiz to test their football knowledge, and once completed, they were registered for their chance to win the Toyota Tundra.

Additionally, The Fan was at Eddie Georges on home game Thursdays for ESPN Thursday Night Football. The Tundra was prominently parked it prominently at the entrance with Toyota banners hung.
