Grazie all’integrazione tra i dati di fonte Istat, quelli elaborati a partire dall’archivio anagrafico e i dati provenienti da altri archivi amministrativi (CCIAA, Ministero dell’Istruzione, ACI ecc…) che già trent’anni fa venivano raccolti dai Servizi Statistici del comune per implementare e aggiornare l’Osservatorio Statistico locale, si sono potute cogliere differenze sostanziali tra le due realtà che erano celate dietro all’apparente uguaglianza tra il numero assoluto dei residenti.
La Terni del 1986 contava poco più di 111.000 residenti quanti ve ne sono oggi, ma la struttura demografica era completamente diversa, come profondamente differenti sono gli eventi demografici che interessano la popolazione. La Terni del 1986 contava poco più di 111.000 residenti quanti ve ne sono oggi, ma la struttura demografica era completamente diversa, come profondamente differenti sono gli eventi demografici che interessano la popolazione.
