TORCH FIRE & PLUMBING CORP. (formerly L.A. Safety First
Phils., Inc. then, Torch Engineering) is one of the region most
experienced Fire Protection Company with over 40 years of dedicated quality
service and now with additional expertise in Sanitary/Plumbing works.
TORCH FIRE & PLUMBING CORP. is unique, that it can design, supply,
install and construct with in-house resources. The Company’s Technical Staff
continuously seeks new and modern technological methods in designs,
installations and construction of all types of fire protection systems ensuring a
superior quality performance. All designs and installations conforms to the
requirements of “REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9514 “ REVISED FIRE CODE OF THE
PHILIPPINES” dated December 19, 2008, NFPA CODES AND STANDARDS and
UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE, as well as, other Local & Safety Ordinances.
In recognition of each technical competence in fire protection which at par with
international standards, the personnel behind the Company had singled out in
handling the designs, supply and installations, including Testing and
Commissioning of the composite fire protection systems at he former U.S. Naval
Base at Subic, Cubi Pt., Zambales, Phils., namely the first high rise building MCON-
200 (now Subic International Hotel) and the first modern jet Engine Test Cell
outside U.S. mainland. All plans and Hydraulic Calculations, etc. as submitted
were duly approved by Westpac. Oicc Dept. of Navy, USA, including other
prestigious commercial and industrial companies in the country.

Mr. Azaña has over 40 years experience as
designer, Consultant and Contractor working
throughout Metro Manila and new developing towns
and cities nationwide. For humanitarian reasons to
save lives and properties, specializing in Fire
Protection and Plumbing technology for residential,
commercial and industrial developments, becomes a
commitment to the daily existence of sharing
knowledge in the development of contributing to the
industry in fire protection and plumbing.
It all started from a Fire Extinguisher company, Carabao, Inc., then, inspired by (PFPA)
Philippine Fire Protection Association, headed by the late Ret. U.S. Marine Lt. Joseph
Garmain and Arch. Manuel P. Ruiz, had successfully designed the Auto. Fire Sprinkler
System of Philamlife Head Office at UN Avenue, Manila at the early seventy and, also in
the late seventies, the Auto. Fire Sprinkler System of Malacañang Palace.
In the early 80’s, two buildings at the Philippine Nuclear Plant, Administration and
Maintenance building were awarded to design and construct the Automatic Sprinkler
System,, then, followed by the first high rise building and first modern Jet engine Test
Cell outside U.S. mainland at Subic Naval Base, Subic, Philippines.
In the 90’s, the first hotel and casino at SBMA, Subic, Philippines were awarded as
project manager and design consultant in MEPF, then, Subic International Airport
Terminal building Fire Protection Systems, etc.
In 2000, the BICC a manufacturing plant also at SBMA, Automatic Sprinkler System
design and construct was awarded , then, followed by NAIA-3 Terminal building,
Sanitary/Plumbing and Automatic Fire Sprinkler System until 2003, then, Pioneer Cebu,
Crown Equities building, GSIS Headquarters 2nd
level, Tune Hotel Aseana City, Widus
Casino Clark, Pampanga and rehabilitation of NAIA-3 Automatic Sprinkler System, and
other concession areas, until present.
