Whereas all the other destinations are provinces filled with attractions,
this town, which is an “Island Paradise” is a destination by itself. Boracay Island
is known for its 7-kilometer beach with fine white sands, called white sand. Its
sand is so fine that even if you walk the shoreline barefoot at high noon, your

the island such as snorkeling, island hopping, parasailing and watching the sunset
from the ocean aboard a blue-sailed boat.

How to get there:

Manila
by air Take one of the daily flights from Manila to
Caticlan. From Caticlan Airport, take a bus
going to Caticlan jetty port, then take a boat
going to Boracay Island.

Take one of the daily flights from Manila to
Kalibo. From Kalibo airport, take a bus
going to Caticlan jetty port, then ride a boat
going to Boracay Island.
2 hours and 30 minute to

by land / sea Travel from Manila to Batangas port; catch a
Roro going to Calapan, Mindoro; then ride a
bus going to Roxas. Go to the port and
catch a ferry going to Caticlan.

Caticlan or Kalibo.

by land / sea Get on a ferry at Cebu City Pier 1 going to

The Ati-Atihan is a festival done to honor Santo Niño. It is
celebrated on the third week of January. There are street dancing, parades,
competitions and many other colorful happenings.
The fiesta is celebrated in Kalibo on the island of Panay, 3 hours
away from Boracay.
