1. Jim Corbett National Park is Located in Himalayas’ foothills, near the
popular hill-station of Nainital district of Uttarakhand, approximately 260 km from
Delhi, Jim Corbett National Park is famous for being home to a large number of
tigers, the highest among any Indian national park.
2. Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan is situated in the Sawai Madhopur
district of southeastern Rajasthan, around 160 km from Jaipur. Ranthambore is
known for its Bengal tiger population. During the past few years, there has been a
decline in numbers due to poaching and other reasons.
3. Kaziranga National Park, Assam is located in the Golaghat and Nagaon
districts of Assam, approximately 200 km from Guwahati. Kaziranga remains open
from November to April every year for the tourists to enjoy the wildlife safari. For the
remaining time of the year, the park is closed for any tourism activity due to the rainy
seasons,it is famous for the Great Indian one horned rhinoceros, the landscape of

district of West Bengal, about 100 km from Kolkata. Sundarbans is of universal
importance for globally endangered species including the Royal Bengal Tiger, Ganges
and Irawadi dolphins, estuarine crocodiles and the critically endangered endemic

5. Gir Forest National Park, Gujarat: is located in the Junagadh district of
Gujarat, approximately 60 km from Junagadh city. Gir forest is famous for Asiatic
lions. It is also known as Sasan Gir and wildlife sanctuary near Talala Gir in Gujarat,
India. During summers the times are normally preponed by 30 minutes . Whereas the
6.30 AM trip is the best but when winters are at the peak the difference is negligible.
