The majority of funds raised were in the software sector, followed by tech. On average, startups over 10 years old raised the most funds per company at €2.2 million, while startups under 3 years old raised €0.5 million on average. The top 3 investors in Belgian TMT startups were Hummingbird, Internet Attitude, and Theodorus. Most funds raised came from deals partially or fully closed by international investors. Companies that raised funds were mainly located in Brussels, East Flanders, and Brabant
