focus to show the stadium.
• There is a lot of negative
space behind him in the sky.
• It is artificial light and
natural.
• The use of low angle makes
him look important and
powerful.
• High contrast lighting.
• Him against the sky makes
him stand out.
• He is wearing ladled cloths
as you can see ‘BT’ is on his
shirt.

have to be used to capture
this image as it is almost all
fast movement.
• The image has a narrow
depth of field because it’s
only the horses and men that
are in focus.
• The lighting is focused on
the horses and the people to
make them stand out.
• Natural lighting is used as
it’s daytime and out doors.
• The light snow being
brought up makes the horses
stand out against it as the
colours contrast.
• The attention is brought
straight to the horses.

ball is on the left.
• It has a broad depth of
field as it’s all in focus.
• A fast shutter speed has
been used as it’s an
action shot to be able to
capture it all without
blur.

because it is daytime
and outdoors.
• The green background
makes the tennis player
stand out.
