A chase sequence establishes equilibrium between two characters, until the main character is killed by the murderer. The police investigate the crime scene and a detective is introduced to the case. After a long investigation, the detective discovers the murderer's identity from evidence and attempts to arrest the suspect alone. This leads to a standoff between the detective and murderer at night, where the murderer's motives are revealed and they surrender to the detective due to guilt.

Equilibrium Setting is established through a chase
sequence between two characters.
Disruption The chase sequence concludes and the main
character is killed by the murderer.
Recognition of Disruption Police investigates the crime scene where the
main character was killed after the chase. As
the investigation continues the protagonist is
introduced as a detective on the case.
Attempt to repair disruption After a long period of time the detective finally
discovers the murderer’s identity through
certain evidence that was left behind on the
scene. and then attempts to arrest the suspect
himself without notifying the rest of the police
force.
Reinstatement of equilibrium Standoff between detective and murderer
during the night which answers some
questions that explain the murderer’s motives.
After being exposed the murderer decides to
give up due to the guilty conscience and is
arrested by the detective.
