Letter of Introduction
My name is Mark Edward Gnarro, and I am seeking employment as an Entry Level Certified
Paralegal/Legal Assistant or a job that is suitable to my educational background, work
experiences, as well as life experience. I received my education and training at the College of
Lake County in Grayslake, IL. I hold an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences,
an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice. I am also a Certified Paralegal, and
I have a Certificate in Criminal Justice as well. I also have extensive knowledge dealing with
financial instruments.
My studies include, but are not limited to, Introduction to Paralegal Studies, Real Property,
Family law, Elder Law, Civil Litigation, Tort law, Legal research and Writing, and Criminal
Procedural Law. I have also studied Computer Forensics, Digital Evidence Recovery, E-
Discovery, and the Windows 7 Operating System. I also have the ability to troubleshoot
computer systems, as I have a great deal of knowledge relating to computer hardware issues.
I am also quite well versed in the criminal justice system as well. I am very confident in my
abilities, I can get the job done efficiently even under the most demanding time constraints. In
the real world, time is money, and that is the bottom line. I can draft any type of legal document
that is required. I have the ability to perform all of these tasks with accuracy, and in a timely
manner. I am veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, and I am very well disciplined and I know what
it takes to accomplish the job correctly. I am skilled in a variety of different areas, and my
knowledge exceeds all of this.
I am hardworking, loyal, trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and highly motivated. What I may
lack in on the job experience does not overshadow my willingness and desire to succeed. I would
be a valuable asset to any firm. As a student I am all honors, with a GPA of 3.500, out of a
possible 4.000.
