This document uses a metaphor of a family as a tree to express gratitude towards a father. It describes the father as the roots who planted the seeds (children) and provided nutrients and stability for the family to grow over time. Through photos at different stages, it shows the children first as seeds and then as seedlings who grew taller together with the father as the roots supporting the family tree through guidance, teaching, and unconditional love over many years.
3. In a family, there will always be a
father, mother and kid(s)
This one is like our family!
4. As a father, you are like the
“roots” of the “tree”. You are the
provider like how the “roots”
transports the necessities to the
other parts of the “tree”…
5. The roots of the tree are very important
because without them, the tree will die
The same goes for a family.
Without the “roots” of the
family, how will the “tree” have
nice “green leaves”? It will
probably wilt and die after
struggling a lot…
6. You were like the one who planted
the “seeds” and became the
“roots”.
You taught us from right and
wrong, you guided us despite the
“harsh weathers” and even shared
your “nutrients” with us…
7. And when I was a “seed”.. I
looked like this…
By the way, nice glasses :P
8. And then you “watered” us… We
were growing slowly, bit by bit…
9. And you just kept pouring
“water” whenever we needed
it..
Look! The “seeds” are growing!
28. After reading the captions and looking
back at the pictures from before, don’t you
realize how far we’ve come? And it was
only possible because there was someone
to “water” those “seeds”, someone to rely
on for “foundation”, someone to share their
“nutrients” and for someone to just be there
for those “seeds” so that they will not lose
their way. And I’m sure you know who’s that
special someone…
