3. Today the internet is one of our best tool when we need to
search for specific information. So, take advantage of it and
look for audios in English to improve your listening. Also,
there are a wide variety of audiobooks that you can
download. You will be practicing not only your listening, but
you will also be able to associate the writing of the words
with their pronunciation.

If you have a favorite series of which you already know the plot,
watch again in English with the subtitles in the same language or
if you are already at a more advanced level, you can watch it
without subtitles. Listening to English by watching programs will
help you understand the language better, since you can acquire
words and common expressions of the culture and become
familiar with the pronunciation and sound of words. Also, if actors
from different countries appear, you will be able to observe the
contrast between the different accents, for example between
American and British English.

that you expand your vocabulary. The more words you know,
the more opportunities you will have to understand English
effectively, as well as to express yourself effectively. You can
do this by reading texts in English, such as news, articles,
magazines and even your favorite books.

A very good way to improve your listening in English is by talking.
This is because learning a language is not just sitting down to
listen to it, we must also put what we learn into practice in order
to better internalize the content and not forget it. Applying what
you have learned in real life will help you develop your
communication skills, as well as being a very good tool to realize
your mistakes and correct them. Also, it is a good way to
familiarize yourself with the language in the most casual way
possible, remember that it is not the same to listen to English in
an audio where the pronunciation of the words is perfect, then to
do it in a conversation in real life, where a lot of expressions and
idioms are involved.
