The document describes a group's 3 hour hike through the bush to a perfect stream located on the border of Maine, in search of rare salamanders. After initially finding a crayfish, tiny toad, and bigger toad, one of the group members discovers a rare Northern Dusky Salamander under a rock, achieving their goal. They then return from their hike happy, having found the rare salamander.

2. We leave the cabin early to cross the lake and
walk in the bush towards the Salamander home.
We know that a perfect stream is located at
the border with Maine.
After 3 hours we reach the spot!
