They typically involve a hero and a villain, with the hero prevailing in the end, though the themes of thrillers can vary greatly.

2. Thrilllllllllllllller
Thrillers can range in themes such as: death, mystery, perception, reality, action packed, crime and
even si-fi. Thriller films have a common use of techniques in order to create tension and attack the
audience, such as: music, lighting, characters and story lines. Generally in a thriller there is a hero and a
villain, ending in a happy ending however the theme of thriller can alternate majorly. From stalkers and
terrorism to twisted relationships and conspiracy stories. Lighting and sound are key to thriller as they
impact situations and enhance the atmosphere.

3. Man on fire is an emotional thriller that thoroughly attaches the
audience to the storyline and characters. A bodyguard silently
bonds with his job, a young girl of whom he much protect; when
she is taken, he does everything to get this girl back with her
family again- even if it means his giving up his own life. The
dramatic music really creates emotion and the reply of the main
event makes the audience relate to the feelings the body guard,
Denzel Washington, is having and feel no vengeance toward the
brutal actions and crime his commits towards the villains. Such a
fantastic film, emotional roller-coaster, not one to be missed!

4. The sixth sense is a thriller/horror with a clever
storyline due to the dramatic, unexpected, twisted
ending . It is a gripping film that focuses on the
paranormal of humans brains, features a young boy
with the ability to see the dead. It featuring Bruce
Willis, Haley Joel, Osment and Toni Collette. Bruce,
the little boy, is open to things no one else can see
apart form the audience also; there is only one man
who can help him, but is he a man? The story is filled
with suspense and connections to the main character
and the thoughts within making his emotion,
behaviour and setting very realistic. This thrillers
exception is the twisted end- this changes it from a
typical thriller plus the original storyline.

5. This is a modern si-fi thriller that focuses on the futures possibilities of taken one
simple tablet daily and turning into someone who can do much more than the
average, sums and maths like no other. It includes violence and action which
contributes to its story, making it a gripping thriller with a lot of drama and
exciting interactions. The graphics, filming and new features to filming make it
modern and fascinating to watch.
