Mr. Thompson has 33-years of experience supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community in
operations, acquisitions, systems engineering and leadership. His experience includes 20 years of direct support to
National Security Space Systems across Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance, Satellite Operations, Launch,
and Space Control Mission Areas. In his current position with the Principal DoD Space Advisor Staff (PDSAS), he
serves as a Space Control subject matter expert. He has supported the execution of three Space Control
Capabilities Based Assessments leading to Joint Services Oversight Council validated Initial Capabilities Documents.
In support of Headquarters Air Force Operation Directorate, Mr. Thompson was designated lead on developing,
