This Safe-Ty™ design from Thomas & Betts is ideal for use
where precision bundling is required and clearance is a
necessity. A unique saddle back design curves to form a snug
fit around the bundle, and allows for easy pull-through in
bulkheads and any other tight spaces.
Features
• Low-profile, contoured head reduces clearance required for
the bundle and enhances the appearance of your harness

The KJC No.1 range kits are used for jointing 20, 50, and 100 pair copper telecommunication cables underground or aerially. They consist of heatshrink sleeving with adhesive and foil lining for sealing and moisture protection, and a braided metal sleeve for strength. They are manufactured to BT specifications.
HS heatshrink sleeving is used for sealing cable entries on external jointing closures for fiber and copper cables. It has thermochromatic paint to indicate correct shrinkage temperature and hot melt adhesive internally to provide an environmental seal meeting BT LN450 specifications. It is available in various sizes for branch sealing applications.

Premium cable ties with steel locking barb
Characteristics
The single most distinguishing feature of the Ty-Rap
®
cable ties
from Thomas & Betts is the stainless steel locking barb, firmly
anchored inside the tie head (Fig. 1).
It is made from corrosion-proof, antimagnetic steel (Marine
Grade Type 316).
This guarantees a strong and durable locking of the tie even
under the most adverse conditions - humidity, heat, cold, etc.
and is also proof against vibration and external shock.
When applying ties with Thomas & Betts tooling, the excess
end of the tie is automatically cut off and the slight over cut
retracts into the tie, so that there is no risk of injury from
protruding sharp edges. (Fig. 3)
The low-profile design of the head allows secure tying in tight
spaces.
The edges of the head are also rounded off to offer maximum
protection from injury.
The transition from the strap to the head is gradual. This
protects the material against breaking at this most critical
point.
Thomas & Betts Ty-Met Cable Ties - Stainless Steel

The KJC No.1 range kits are used for jointing 20, 50, and 100 pair copper telecommunication cables underground or aerially. They consist of heatshrink sleeving with adhesive and foil lining for sealing and moisture protection, and a braided metal sleeve for strength. They are manufactured to BT specifications.
HS heatshrink sleeving is used for sealing cable entries on external jointing closures for fiber and copper cables. It has thermochromatic paint to indicate correct shrinkage temperature and hot melt adhesive internally to provide an environmental seal meeting BT LN450 specifications. It is available in various sizes for branch sealing applications.

Premium cable ties with steel locking barb
Characteristics
The single most distinguishing feature of the Ty-Rap
®
cable ties
from Thomas & Betts is the stainless steel locking barb, firmly
anchored inside the tie head (Fig. 1).
It is made from corrosion-proof, antimagnetic steel (Marine
Grade Type 316).
This guarantees a strong and durable locking of the tie even
under the most adverse conditions - humidity, heat, cold, etc.
and is also proof against vibration and external shock.
When applying ties with Thomas & Betts tooling, the excess
end of the tie is automatically cut off and the slight over cut
retracts into the tie, so that there is no risk of injury from
protruding sharp edges. (Fig. 3)
The low-profile design of the head allows secure tying in tight
spaces.
The edges of the head are also rounded off to offer maximum
protection from injury.
The transition from the strap to the head is gradual. This
protects the material against breaking at this most critical
point.

THE RULES OF SAFE ISOLATION ARE:
Obtain permission to start work (a Permit may be required in some situations)
Identify the source(s) of supply using an approved voltage indicator or test lamp
Prove that the approved voltage indicator or test lamp is functioning correctly
Isolate the supply(s)
Secure the isolation
Prove the system/equipment is DEAD using an approved voltage indicator or test lamp
Prove that the approved voltage indicator or test lamp is functioning correctly
Put up warning signs to tell other people that the electrical installation has been isolated
Once the system/equipment is proved DEAD, work can begin
