1. In 2016 Bruce S. tripped and fell while getting
out of a cab after a client lunch in front of the
Merchandise Mart and struck his head on the
pavement. Unfortunately, the fall resulted
in a brain bleed and permanent disability.
Bruce’s insurance company denied his workers’
compensation claim. Ankin Law stepped in, an
expert witness was contacted, and attorney’s Scott
Goldstein and Josh Rudolfi are taking the case to
trial in order to get their client the compensation
he deserves for his injuries.

Gretha Rodriguez-Franco
Where did you grow up?
“I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.”
What school did you attend for undergrad? Degree?
“I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s in
Psychology then attended law school at DePaul University College of Law”
Why law?
“I wanted to find a profession that would give me the tools and knowledge
to affect change in the world. One situation that particularly inspired me to
become a lawyer was when former President Trump signed the executive
order declaring a Muslim travel ban. There was uncertainty and chaos all over
the world, and a feeling of helplessness. Then something amazing happened,
images of lawyers at U.S. airports opening their laptops and offering free
legal services on-the-spot appeared in the news. It was at that moment,
I knew that I wanted to be a lawyer and started studying for the LSAT.”

“The Ankin Law team was very inviting and down-to-earth. It was clear
that I was welcomed, valued and a significant part of team.”
What will you be working on?
“I will be working as a Law Clerk in the PI department.”

Howard recorded four commercials recenrtly with Illinois alumni and Bulls rookie sensation Ayo Dosunmu.
Ayo and Howard are both from Chicago, Illinois grads, and at the top of their game. They have so much in common,
it’s almost like they’re twins! Look for these entertaining commecials on NBC Sports and Saturday Night Live.
