2. Matthew 4:18-20
18 As Jesus was walking beside the
Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers,
Simon called Peter and his brother
Andrew. They were casting a net into
the lake, for they were fishermen. 19
“COME, FOLLOW me,” Jesus said, “and
I will SEND you out to fish for people.”
20 At once they left their nets and
followed him.

1. Who Am I?
2. Where am I from?

4. What can I do?
5. Where am I going?

masterpiece. He has created
us anew in Christ Jesus, so
we can do the good things
he planned for us long ago.”

world that he gave his
one and only Son, that

shall not perish but have
eternal life.”

9. BILL
HULL
“The false promise of
discipleship is the
premise that discipleship
is about you and I getting
closer and closer to
Jesus.”
12. FOLLOW ME
this is a calling to be in
relationship with Jesus
and live under His
authority.
13. 1 CORITHIANS 1:12-13
12 Some of you are saying, “I am a follower of Paul.”
Others are saying, “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow
Peter,[a]” or “I follow only Christ.”
13 Has Christ been divided into factions? Was I, Paul,
crucified for you? Were any of you baptized in the
name of Paul? Of course not!
14. 1 CORITHIANS 3:4-5
4 When one of you says, “I am a follower of Paul,” and
another says, “I follow Apollos,” aren’t you acting just
like people of the world?
5 After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only
God’s servants through whom you believed the Good
News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us.
15. JOHN 12:26
“Anyone who wants to
serve me must follow me,
because my servants must
be where I am. And the
Father will honor anyone
who serves me.”

man, he bids him
come and die”

18. ROMANS 12:1-2
“And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead
with you to give your bodies to God because of
all he has done for you. Let them be a living
and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find
acceptable. This is truly the way to worship
him.[b] 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs
of this world, but let God transform you into a
new person by changing the way you think.
Then you will learn to know God’s will for you,
which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
19. PHILIPPIANS 2:13

giving you the desire and
the power to do what
pleases him.”

sinful nature craves.
22. MATTHEW 28:18-20
“18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All
authority in heaven and on earth has been
given to me. 19 Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and
of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to
obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age.”

when the Holy Spirit comes
on you; and you will be my
witnesses in Jerusalem, and
in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the
earth.”
