performed at the Veterans-Wadsworth Theatre. Was initially hired for my hemp rigging experience.

to July 1997 Responsibilities included: being assigned the role of Master Carpenter for most performances; Supervise the operation of
the theatre’s single purchase counterweight fly system; Ability to set up lighting and scenery with plots and other working
drawings; ability to operate all of the theatre’s lighting and sound equipment when called upon; stage management of
most single performance events; Assist in building security; File reports on accidents and other incidents; Participate in &
help maintain records of maintenance of all technical equipment; Perform on stage in any production as required; Maintain
good working relations with visiting artists, technicians, producers, fellow staff members, and the public.
Salary: $14.00 hourly.
August 1995 CURTIS THEATRE • Brea, CA
to March 1996 Hired on a temporary basis as a Media Specialist I included supervision of the facility during performances; Set up &
operation of all technical equipment and other supervisorial duties as needed on an on-call basis.
Salary: $14.07 hourly.
September 1988 to GOLDEN STATE CHILDREN’S THEATRE • La Mirada, CA
December 1990 Technical Director for an original children’s musical entitled “Wolftales”. Responsibilities included: Obtaining materials
for the construction of the set; Maintenance of the set; Arrange transportation of the set; Visit each venue prior to load-in
to determine physical limitations of each space and to discuss the show’s requirements; Supervision of all local crews
during load-in, performance, and strike.
Salary: $10.00 hourly.
July 1985 to MUSICAL THEATRE WEST • La Mirada, CA
October 1990 Responsibilities as a Set Carpenter, Rigger, and Audio Technician.

February 1990 Responsibilities included: Participation in the construction and operation of all flying scenery as well as special motorized
and flying rigs; Operation of the single purchase counterweight fly system at the Long Beach Terrace Theatre; Was also
responsible for coordinating all flying scenery for a short tour of a production of “Peter Pan “ at the Arlington Theater in
Santa Barbara.
Salary: Negotiated on a per show basis.
June-August SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CONSERVATORY THEATRE • Cerritos, CA
1983 Responsibilities as an Electrician, Set Carpenter, Stagehand, and Audio Technician for 4 productions produced that
summer at the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts and at the Burnight Center Theatre at Cerritos College.
Salary: $600 for the season.
September 1982 to RIO HONDO COLLEGE COMMUNITY SERVICES • Whittier, CA
June 1983 Held a position entitled Technical Stage Manager. I was responsible for determining the technical needs for Community
Service events in the Wray Theatre and other sites on campus; Hired and staffed for all events; Supervised the operation
of lighting, audio, projection, and other related equipment; Stage Manager for most performances; Oversaw building
security for all events; Responsible for the completion and filing of all paperwork regarding payroll and box office
information; Filed reports on accidents and other incidents.
Salary: $6.15 hourly.
