Theatertapas is a small-scale showcase festival in Groningen, Netherlands that provides a cultural menu of brief performances and art installations to help wake audiences up from winter and promote local artists. Participants can receive a menu to choose from various theater and arts "tapas," visit locations around the city, and then meet makers over live music and real tapas served by a local restaurant. The event is an initiative that helps artists express and promote themselves collaboratively as they professionalize their creative businesses.
