The Struts used a MassCloud 500 Series unit on their 2015 US tour to capture fan data and drive engagement. The unit was easy for the tour manager to deploy and manage. At each of the 42 concerts over 2.5 months attended by 500-800 people, fans could access a private WiFi network via the MassCloud unit to enter a contest to meet the band. This resulted in a 40% overall data capture rate and a 23% increase in merchandising sales. The band was able to promote offers and interact with fans virtually since internet was not otherwise available at many of the venues.
