This 5 day unit plan aims to teach 20 2nd grade students about the basic concepts of the solar system. The plan involves using videos, computer simulations, and visual animations over 5 days to cover topics like the sun, planets, moons, stars, asteroids, and comets. Resources to be used include videos from TeacherTube and the Magic School Bus, as well as Cyber Sky and Google.

African American students, 2 Hispanic
students. 1 student with mild ADD.
 Main objective: Learn the basic concepts of
the solar system

3.  Day 1: The Sun
 Day 2: The Planets
 Day 3: The Planets
 Day 4: Moons and Stars
 Day 5: Asteroids and Comets
