calmness. The mind numbing waves of the sea during calm
afternoons and the big scary waves during a thunderstorm speaks
volumes of what a freak of nature our oceans and seas are.The
movement of the waves in synchrony and the sound made by them
inspires me to infuse hydro elemental designs and shapes inside
our loft.

The horizon is where the sea meets the sky. There is always a sense
of anticipation as to what awaits beyond the horizon, a surprise
element to be exact. It is nature’s own perspective vision which is
beyond beautiful and hold us all in awe. The in between is the ground
we stand on, the warm sand, the rough rocks, and the lush colors of
the sunset. In this inspiration we see the connection between smoke,
shadows and shows their tranclucency.
10. The color palette is inspired by nature. Most of the colors are from
the sky till the bottom of the sea. We have used a combination of
earthy tone mixed with tangerine and shades of pink. One of the
prime color is white which helps the palette to remain neutral.

LOFTINBERLIN
The helicate staircase and curved pillar lead to upstair in a graceful flowing
with white which is the dominant color. Inspired from under the sea
creatures ‘Shells’ remind of natural sculptures. The staircase also indicates
harmony among living room to resting area on the mezzanine floor.

STRUCTURES
1) The walls separating bathrooms or other hygiene related
places must be minimum cm16 thick.
2) All lighting and ventilation apertures in bathrooms must have a
direct and exclusive outlet outside the building and never directly
open into other living spaces such as kitchens, staircases and
internal passages. A filtering area is compulsory.
3) All outlet fixtures must be positioned within the indicated areas
(see related index)
4) The overall horizontal projections of possible mezzanines
cannot cover more than half of the space surface. The minimum
height of the mezzanine space cannot be lower than 220 cm.
5) If the overall horizontal projection of the mezzanine is lower
than 1/3 of the total space, the minimum height cannot be lower
than 210 cm.
6) The flue pipe must be as straight as possible, it must be at
least 4m long, with no bottlenecks, bends or section variations,
and with an axis deviation of max 45°.
COVERINGS
1) All kitchens and cooking areas must have water-proof, easy to
wash floor coverings and wall coverings, at least on the walls
featuring kitchen appliances, and must have a min height of
200cm.
2) All the bathrooms, including spaces featuring just a bidet, a
toilet and a sink must have waterproof floors and waterproof and
easy-to-wash wall coverings reaching a minimum height of
200cm.
